Hi
I am contemplating a new mobo but don't know whether to go for the nforce or KT400 based chip.
What are the dis/advantages of each and what are the fastest processors and memory each will run.

In my opinion, the KT400 is a dieing breed. Go nForce for future use....

But then, what do i know....

AndyH8 grab the epox 8rda+ or the abit nf2 board whatever it is called...

a7n8x sux, i've seen so many die hard asus fans switch to other nf2 boards just cause of the a7n8x....

here's what someone i know told me after i asked how their other board was running:
Hi Login211,

Here is the scoop! A7n8x can only go 11 x 200 with Athlon XP 3200+. With the Abit NF7-S I'm now running 12 x 230 Stable! @ 1.75 vcore! I am completely shocked!

Running prime95 for one whole day already-no errors! Go figure!?! Helps my 3D rendering alot!

Hope this helps,

******

12 x 230 =2.760ghz WOW!!

u will regret buying the a7n8x even if you don't overclock.....
