Lex KT400-8235

I have got a lex kt400-8235 motherboard with a AMD Athalon XP2600+ CPU. I want to overclock my CPU and ram. I know that I need to change my bios settings to overclock the processor and ram. What settings in my bios will achieve my maxium settings. I have PC3200 DDR ram, 1 gig of. At present I get 2.08 performance from my processor. I am a complete newbie to overclocking so all help is appreciated.
