i have an abit kd7-raid (kt400) and an athlon XP 2400 and my proc is still "locked". i updated the bios form abit site but i didn't manually reset the CMOS i just restarted my computer. Should i reset the CMOS? or is there any other wya to fix this?

Which bios are you using? Ive never had a problem with it. Are you not able to change the setting to "manual"?

If you use the proper switches it will reset during the flash, otherwise just clear it to be sure and reset your options.

im using the DN bios and yea i can't get it enabled tis blocked off ;/ is there an option to? its in soft menu III

List down exactly how you set your SOFT MENUU III. Their might be a simple solution to this.
