quick thermal grease question

Hi, im kind've a beginner and i just wanted to know if you can pull off your heatsink from your cpu after you apply thermal grease. Thanks
 
you can pull of your heatsink if you use thermal greese or a pad... it's not permanent....

if you're using something permanent such as arctic silver epoxy(don't see why you would for a cpu) removing the heatsink would not be posible since it's permanent....
 
nah... I've never had any problem removing heatsinks that were applied using a thermal epoxy. Removing the EPOXY is definitely a chore... but you can usually twist and turn the heatsink enough to get it loose.
