Do you have to use the 4 pin 12V connector?

I just got my board today, and I'm wondering if it is required?

on the NF7-s rev. 2.0.

Your board will run all right without it . It is good when overclocking to stabilise voltages

It only stablizes the 12v line...and if i remember right thats where your vcore comes from.

You do the math ;)

i use it on my AT7-MAX2 mb and it seems to allow stable vcore, and my rails are looking fine as well.

i figure, it's not going to harm anything, so, why not use it...that's what it's there fore....;)

Maybe, just maybe he is using an old PS that doesn't have the extra connector and would like to know if has to spring for a new one?
