This question is for the most hardcore KT7A users out there! I am wondering if anyone was ever able to find a way around the Softmenu III option that allows you to run the memory MHz + 33MHz behond the FSB.
This option was mainly used with people running the 200MHz FSB (100) in the option while being able to have there memory run at 133MHz.
Since the option Dram Clock = Host Clock + PCI Clock is only available up to FSB 122, PCI Divider stays at 1/3. Yea, you can go higher by increasing "CPU FSB Plus", but Divider stays 1/3. So maximum I reached were 126 MHz with a PCI of 42 MHz, any more would crash System loading Windows.
While running the bus speed at 244MHz (122), my memory was actually running smooth at 155MHz without a hickup.
I know there must be a way somehow.
