I'm having a memory issue here and need the slowest timings I can set.

Best I can find is 2.5-3-3-6-2 on my Rev 2 mobo.
it has the 1018.001 BIOS.

The Memory is a Samsung stick rated
200FSB @ 3.0.

I can get it to go 190FSB a not a spec more.
That's @ the slowest timings I can set.

Is there something I'm missing on the mobo?

TIA.

Are you sure it's not some other component keeping you from breaking 190FSB? The FSB:pCI:AGP is locked, so after 187FSB, your PCI:AGP bus is something like 39MHz and at 200FSB, it's 40MHz, which I don't think some components can handle. Of course, I'm a n00b myself, so don't quote me on it, but I think that's what's holding you/us (I have the same board) back.

If you have a tbred chip, then you're luckier than a lot of A7V333 users to be able to run at 190FSB. The mobo is not 100% compatible with the new Tbred architecture when it comes to running at higher FSB speeds. I can run stable up to 189fsb but my XP starts getting corrupted at 190fsb or higher. I could however run upto 208fsb with my palomino and the same mobo.

Ahhh....

That explains some of it.

I have a 1700"B" 1.6v dlt3c (?) chip or is the 1.6v a U?
whichever...

That explains a lot.

Hmmmm...

New mobo time?
grrrr... I "just" got this 1 !

Corrupted. hmm.
That's why you went with 16x165...
I see now.

Thanks All.
