My firend bought a M7NCD PRO, Barton 2500+, some kind of 256MB PC2700 ram, a GF4MX 440 128Mb card, and WinXP on a new 80GB WD 8MB hd. We stuck every thing in the right place, but it won't boot up. It always freezes towards the beginning area where it say the v-card, temps, or a little farther down the line. He said the farthest he got was into Windows, then it froze. He can't get any farther now. What should I do to help him fix it?
He bought them all at newegg. The cpu, using the retail hsf, is normally at 55*C.

Dude...some kind of memory ?? hehe might wanna check that out in another machine ....also if you are not getting windows loaded even then its possible that yours is corrupt
