what is a safe temp for me to set my auto shut off temp

Depends at what your running now and what you dont want the temps to go up to. I say 60-70 or in the 50's if your temps are pretty low.

Mine is set to 60C (minumum temp setting). My max temp in my system should never go above 50C, and if there is a problem, I like being safe than sorry.

It really is just a matter of preference. Most AMD chips frying temps are 90C, which is extremely hot. My mobos max auto shut down temp is I think 80C. It really doesn't matter though.
