Stoopid PayPal n00b question.

I just set up my PayPal account, and finished the verification process, but it still takes 3-4 business days to add funds to my PayPal account from my checking account. Someone mentioned that if I tied my PayPal account to my debit card, it would go faster?

So how would I go about doing that? Just Add-Funds from a credit card, and put in my debit card number, or what?

Otherwise theres no real point in having a PayPal account.
