i see alot of you guys using *'s and stuff but to get the° thingy just do alt+0176 on the keypad

I've been wondering where the alt+(insert 4 digits) info was. I remember seeing them once and thought it was within the symbol window in word, but alas, I didn't find it there. I have a few of my own that I had... Þ ( damn...forgot what the double s was...oh well, might as well look it up. §). Thanks for reminding me where to find the alt+ combos.

we have all these symbols in the spanish keyb. layout they should´ve put the º in the english layout at least

it does, but you need to do it with the keypad, using the Fn key usually (depends on your laptop) with the Alt key in some strange way

I run my pc at 32° Celcius.

I believe you can only do this with the numbers on the number pad...I don't think it works with the numbers lined at the top of your keyboard.

Ok, the alt+s are easy to use, but how do you use the ones that say U+ ?

Like U+0021 is an exclamation point, how do you use that? Exclamation can be done with the usual shift+1, but what about U+00CA?
