does anyone know if the abit nf7-s has an overvolt protection?

i'm trying to see if i can run 2.1 to 2.2 vcore volts (not for an extended period but for a short period)

i can't seem to boot into windows with voltage over 2.1...

and if so, how do you disable it?

thanks!

What kind of cooling are you using, it could be your CPU is getting to hot and crashing. Have you watched your temps in BIOS when you are using the 2.1+ voltage?

tbread B 1700's HATE voltage!! especially the DLT3C, or the 1.5vcore version.
EDIT: mine is at 2.45 and is more stable at 1.725 than 1.75 ;)

i dunno, my t-bred dut3c loves it. can take really high voltages.
as for the question,.. ive encountereds this on my nf-7 as well. i had to boot it at a lower voltage, then keep rebooting raising the V_core a bit at a time. finally got it, just takes some time. now i can set it wherever whenever. seems like it was a one time deal. oh and ive had 2 nf-7 and both weere like this, but then again maybe its the chip too (same chip on both)
