How do I clean it? There is a lot of copper residue and dust and stuff on it....is it cool to wash it with water? It's not going into my comp for a couple weeks so I can let it sit and dry or whatever...

i usualy clean it with water and then blow a hair dryer on the hottest setting (so the thing warms up and water evaporates) and then just let it sit there and check and recheck it in case any water was left on my hs

I used some water initially and dried it with a hair dryer to get the water to evaporate (be careful! your heat sink will be HOT!). Then, I cleaned the base with rubbing alcohol several times. That seemed to do the trick.
