A7N8X Deluxe BIOS chip?

Were can i get a new BIOS chip for this MB?..

i got a brand new one for free but i just needs a new BIOS chip.

You can try the RMA email on Asus's site (good luck...gave up after 5 RMA emails to them and no answer)...

Or you can go to badflash.com and order one from there...but you will need the old BIOS chip to get the certain numbers off of it...and hope it wasn't like mine...pulled the sticker off and it took the numbers off of it...

You also need to make sure what revision it is...a 2.0 rev. BIOS chip will not work in a 1.04 rev....but a 1.04 rev. will work in a 2.0 rev.

or is it on the MB cause if its on the chip then ill have to make sure

you should see where it says Asus betwen the 2nd and 3rd PCI slot...it will say if it is a rev 1.0, 1.04 or 2.0...
