How are these put together? I'm building an external water cooling kit, which one would be best for me?
 
You might get better answers in the w/c section but there is one at swiftnets.com you might want to check out. Also they are not something you must use, pumps have a long cord, just plug it in.
 
I'm not sure how they work though...I'd like to have the option to switch between automatic powerup with the system, and manual power up, which the PCI card has...the switches though have switches, so do they have the same feature?
 
There is a PCI relay card sold by Criticool, which is what I have. It's a great little thing, and easy to set up too.
Also, Cooltechnica has some choices of relays, although I think you have to cut holes in your case for those.
