P4 2.26b + Springdale???

i currently have my p4 2.26b @ 2.83GHz (166x17)...im thinking of purchasing a sprindale chipset mobo...will this increase performance? eventually i will purchase a 2.4c...just a mobo fanboy

It won't increase your overclocking performance. I had hopes that the 865/875 boards would overclock the P4B chips as well as they are working with the new P4C's, but that's not happening. The 865/875 boards seem to have problems with the increasing memory multipliers needed to get the full performance out of the Northwood B's.
