I have an old CoolerMaster HSF on a Athlon Thunderbird 1 Ghz, but it is whining a lot lately (dust is a b!@#$). So, can you guys recommend a decent QUIET and CHEAP (UNDER $15 shipped) HSF for it? Thanks all.

why not just get a new fan instead of a new heatsink too?

anyway. Maybe some cheap stock AMD cooler.

That's a good point. Anyone want to recommend me a good and QUIET 60mm fan then? THANKS sandman for the suggestion

I have a TBird 1100 and I ran the EC-715 posted above. Good HS+F for the money. I just bought a Swiftech mcx462-U and the evercool is 10x10^6 times quieter. I have the swifty on my Nexus right now and it is tolorable. Get the 715 and you should be happy
