it looks like ti would perform around an sk-6, so yes, it is better than a stock hsf.
 
I bought ten like those pictured a couple of moths back. They were aluminum and copper plated. I would email and find out whether they are pure copper or not.
 
i remember a post a while back about lapping. The person was lapping their alum HS and it was copper underneath...strange huh? An alum plated copper HS
 
The stock hsf that came with my barton was aluminum on the outside and copper inside. I lapped and lost 10c. It runs my 1700 around 42c idle, 48 load.
 
Thats seems like a good deal for something would up your performance. So I would find out if they are solid copper and then take it from there.
