Hey guys, i happen to have a new blue orb laying around ( dont want to use on the 9800 pro) and was wandering if using it on the mobo chipset wouldb a smart idea? Currently on my chipset there is only a silver heatsink, would the blue orb be worth putting on or is there some other use i could have for it?

Well, if you are pushing around 200mhz for the fsb, then it would be a good idea. Getting some active cooling there. If not, then I suppose it wouldn't hurt anything, but probably wouldn't do too much.

it would proably be a good idea since its a hsf laying around not in use. I'm assuming that your silver heatsink doesnt have a fan on it. It will help in o/cing though

do it !
