I have a Maxi-Jet 750 (230gph) pump. My WC setup only has CPU cooling.

If i want to add a waterblock for the NB, do i have to change my pump?

Thanx

The extra NB block will add resistance to the system but your pump would still work. It depends more how much the NB adds to resitance. If you have the setup pump/rad --> CPU --> NB --> pump/rad. Then the NB adds more to the reistance if it is split by a "Y" like :
pump/rad --> Y --> CPU --> Y --> pump/rad
pump/rad --> Y --> NB --> Y -- >pump/rad
(if this makes sense) then the NB resistance is not as big of a deal but you block flowrate will be less. I used to watercool my NB but I went back to air cooling becasue I didn't see a significant gain but a lot more tubing in my case. Have you tried lapping your NB heatsink and then using ASIII paste? You can also use bolts to clamp down the NB heatsink for better contact or even add a washer to make the stock springs push down harder.
