last night i finally got my tbird 1100 in and i wanted to do some overclocking. I upped the fsb to 101...no problems.....102 no problems....so I figured I wasnt pushing it enough so I set it to 105. It appears this was a mistake. It would freeze so fast that it wouldnt even count the ram. I tried and tried and tried to get into the bios to change it back... but it was so unstable i couldnt even get in.
:-D :o
Eventually i let it cool down for about an hour and i was able to get in (at lightning fast finger speed!) and bring the fsb back down.

So I have two questions...1. What do you do if you cant get into your bios after trying to oc....and

2. Does this mean i wont be able to get my fsb any higher than 102 or so?:-(

i don't know what mobo you're running, but if it's a kt7 (and probably others) you can hold the insert key to boot with the default settings for your chip
