Wow, you guy are boards! What joke?? I can tell you guys are not happy. No waste for funds here, I got myself a celeron. I also got a K6-2. From my experiance intel is a much better all around product. The duron, right, i know what your thinking. But here the table is turned, you go ahead and buy that new Duron. Only time will tell with that thing. Besides all the name calling when you buy AMD you are buying the generic brand, something that cost less. Good luck with your Generic Processor. Oh, one more thing you guys don't have to be such A$$holes. I know your not happy with you processor, right? Will its not my fault you bought it. HA HA Buy Intel....

Hey, I'm not being an a$$hole and I am perfectly happy. I've built several computers, both Intel and AMD. The last two I built were both Athlon slot A's. I'd never use any other procesor after using these. You can run 'em stock or overclock with better stability than I've seen out of any Intel CPU, regardless of what type it was. Just my experience. You can spend more money and get less from Intel if you want. Your money, your choice! Have fun!!!!

Yea...I was one time intel fan as well....ashamed after finding out how AMD CPUs were way better performers with way cheaper prices. I know exactly how you feel cflores. Well, as you've said cflores, TIME will tell you everything. You'll eventually learn. Maybe it's just taking longer for you to understand the fact...hehe...:):):)
Right now I'm using my new built AMD 1.2 GHz T-Bird @ 1.33 GHz on Iwill KA-266R DDR board that outperforms any P41.5GHz systems. And here I mean literally "OUTPERFORMS ANY INTEL SYSTEMS OUT THERE~!!!" PERIOD.
So cflores, do some research, do some benchmarking, and well, we'll welcome you when you decide to join us.....cuz I know that you will eventually..........just dunno how soon that's gonna be tho..:):):):):):)
