Temperature Measurement.

Hi Guys,

I have AMD 1.2 in a KT7 running at 1.3. Under load the temperature was getting close to 60 degrees C.

So I decided to check the Heatsink and fan. Took the Heatsink off... didn't notice anything out of place so I rebedded it. Now I notice the temperature is almost always around 32 degrees?????

What did I do? Could I really have done anything that made such a big improvement?

Not sure how the temperature is measured... Is it possible that I disturbed a sensor or something?

Sounds like ya might have adjusted the sensor under the cpu. But then it could have been the hsf was'nt positioned on the cpu just right.
