8) ive just read a post where a guy has got up his slot a 700 tbird up to 1120mhz,10x multiplyer,112fsb.i was wonder do tbird slot a overclock better than a classic, seems all i can get is 105 fsb on my k7v mb,would a videocard hold ya back a bit as ive only got a geforce mx2 card,if i go any higher on the fsb she just won't post, hmmm maybe my vcore is to low at 1.70 ;-) any tips would be gr8
I have a 900 classic Athlon, and the best I could get it to do is 1006MHz. That is with a GFD, pushing it to 950, and the rest with FSB increases. It does not like voltage increases, and refuses to go any further. With the Slot A TBird, you should be able to unlock the multiplier, and with the 256 on-die cache, get better results.
