Hi,

I am trying to do some case moding, and heatsink cutting. What is a good tool to use?? I have heard of Dremel, and went to check, however i have no idea which model to get. Can anyone of you help me on getting the correct tool for modding.

I have the Black&Decker RTX and I really like it. It was cheaper than a Dremel brand dremel but it accepts all the Dremel brand tools. I know other people on here have the same model and find it reliable.

I've modded my PC70 with it and it worked great cutting very thick aluminum. I would assume it could cut a heatsink as well.

get a dremel or dremel clone with a varible speed setting.
