I got my new Abit IC7 in the other day and hooked it up and it didn't work so I got in touch with the comany i bought it from for help. They told me that my PC2100 memory wouldn't work with this mobo but I asked you guys this same questiona while back and you said it would. What is the deal...will it work or not?

Unfortunately, some people will give information/advice when they don't have any real experience or knowledge. So, take any advice carefully, and do your own research! Thats the safest way to go.

Indeed u should have done alot more research on your own rather than relying solely on someone's opinion. If he/she is wrong than you're SOL.

Well, checking the downloadable manual from abit's website, it supposedly DOES support pc2100.

pc2100 WILL hurt your performance, though.

And the people above are right.... DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. These forums are helpful, but not 100% accurate.
