i've been reading up on a lot of stuff here within the past couple of weeks.

i've managed to push my xp2600 to 2.408GHz!!!

vcore is at 1.85v

fsb is at 172

multiplier is at 14

172 * 14 = 2408

cpu temp at idle is 45c

i've played battlefield 1942 for 2 whole hours straight to test stability and no problems! the game is sooooooo much smoother i can't even describe in words.

like i've said before, i never even knew "overclocking" existed until a couple of weeks ago. i'm glad i found out! =P

rock on doods:cool:

EDIT:

although its in my sig...

Congrats. :) Now change your front side bus and memory to 200mhz, which is what they should be at spec. You should use prime95 (www.mersenne.org/freesoft) to check for stability, btw. Your comp looks awesome, btw. :)

Nice rig dude - I'd clean up the cables a bit and you'll get even better airflow!

Oh yeah, and BF1942 will be even smoother with a higher fsb.

Nice overclock for such a little ammount of time here man! Keep up the good work, I bet you have a little more headroom with the FSB, but overall, very nicely done.
