does anybody know of a way to up the multipliers w/o having to get a goldfinger device? i can only get so far w/ the fsb.

Well, it is possible, but VERY risky. What you need to do is solder on the CPU itself! There are little resistors on the PCB, switching them allows you to set multiplyer. Only profs are able to do this kind of stuff. Believe me, you'll and up ruining your athlon. When you OC, you must have the ability to try some of your settings, this way you keep soldering. Sorry, no options left. I have a wireless GFD (tweaking device 2), it works perfectly and is very simple to use. When some of my dork friends tell me some of my windows appz. don't work because my CPU is overclocked and I've got water in my case, I pull the GFD and voila! Back to 500MHz. Put it back, 800MHz. (p.s. you should have seen the look on their faces when the windows environment was just the same, now they are believers).
