View Full Version : Artic Thermal Paste
Artic Thermal Paste is this stuff conductive and if so whats the best way to clean it off.
Most thermal paste I've come in contact with is somewhat conductive. Chances are good what you're using is conductive too, and as you know out of control conductive anything can make for a bad day on a CPU.
Wipe it good with a lightly moist sponge, just to clear off all the heavy stuff, for the little stuff you can use alcohol on a ear swab, or use the nail polish (Rob Corks suggestion) "Thanks Rob!"
For those tight places, use a toothpick.

Pencil eraser works very good. It eliminated the arctic silver on my cpu very clean.
The people at Artic Silver suggest you be care full where you put it,So I would think it is. I use alohlol and and a Q-tip.
