Welcome to SETI.
The instruction's are fine, but I would go to the individual sites to get the latest version's. And be sure to get the command line version of SETI.
Let us know if you need help.

It's not hard to do. I sent you a private message. I made it really easy to setup. Please give it a chance.

to join go here
http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/cgi-bin/cgi?cmd=team_join_form&id=94265
and then you have a client to work, something like this
=KLICK= (http://home.teleos-web.de/ubrinkschmidt/seti/setistash.rar)
this is a cache programm with the Seti Client include
than go to this directory login.bat and then 2 log into an existing Account, your E-mail , and you are ready to crunsch.
No problem i thougt.
regards
Sir Ulli

I made it more automatic. Nothing really to setup except shortcuts.
it'll give you the CLC vesion3.03 , setidriver and setispy all preconfigured except the # of desired cache size in setidriver

Minimun of 1 but most including me put a value according to how many wu's the system can complete in 24 hours in case the berkley server is done and unable to download a new wu. Most of my systems are set to a minimun of 10.

Set it for 10 and see how many your system can do in a day and multiply that # for a week or so for your cache.

Depends on what CPU you are using. WU = Work Unit
