Well I left the fsb speed alone. I flashed the new bios upgrade. reduced my voltage to 1.75. I am running rock solid......Should I get a better cooling system and where and how much?

My T Bird 800 is running at 1000 and the temp is around 46c using an FOP 38 fan. It seems but with the super orb I was running at over 54c. Your temps dont seem that high. From what I have seen, amd chips run pretty hot.
(sorry about the celceius thing.Sorry dont know what the conversion to F is.)

is that at load or not??? mine runs at 23oC idle and then rockets to 39oC when loaded, sorry dunno about that old F temp reading we phased them out years ago in the good old United Kingdom (soon to be another crappy european state).

I think I may be lucky. I have my Tbird 700@950 @ 1.75v and a FOP38. My temp never rises above 33c under full load. And about 23c at idle. Also, my case temp never goes above 25c with only two case fans.

Well it's under load that it runs at 45 C at idle its at 36 C What kind of fan are you running?

That's not so bad, what cooling do u have?
Mine is running at 42C idle and 50C at full load, and that's with standard cooling. I'm just hoping that I will get the cash for a FOP38 soon, so I can hit the gig!

mine is 28-27 idle and then goes straight up too 47c if i run 3dmark demo once. got a fop32
