Id use the 4 to 3 pin adapter that came with it and hook it up to a un-used 4 pin connector. Or hook it up between a cd rom and its 4 pin, eitherway.

I would recommend plugging each of the fan cables into a mobo 3 pin header. On the A7V, there are 4 mobo fan headers. Three of these headers can be set on the BIOS to turn off when the system goes into Sleep/Suspend mode ("Disable CPU fan in Sleep mode?"). This will make your system run very quiet when it's in Sleep/Suspend mode. Also, three of these headers offer fan RPM monitoring, which is nice to know.

Here's a breakdown of which header on the mobo does what:

CPU_FAN: has RPM monitoring, can be shutdown on Sleep mode
CHA_FAN: has RPM monitoring, can be shutdown on Sleep mode
PWR_FAN: has RPM monitoring, can NOT be shutdown on Sleep mode
F_FAN: does NOT have RPM monitoring, can be shutdown on Sleep mode

I would avoid the F_FAN header, because both fans on the SuperOrg offer RPM monitoring. I personally plug both my CPU fans into CPU_FAN and CHA_FAN. The heatsink alone on the SuperOrb is more than adequate for cooling my Athlon 1GHz in Sleep mode.

I hope this helps.
