I am attempting to oc my 1 gig T-bird on a A7V and don't understand the information that bot WCPUID & SiSoft Sandra are reporting. Both, and the BIOS on boot up, are showing my Clock Freq @ 1109 but WCPUID is showing the Multiplier @ 5. It was showing the multiplier @ 5 even before I began the oc'ing which is making me suspect that it is showing false data. I have done the old bridging technique that everyone knows about and everything else. However, I am not sure why I am seeing this in WCPUID. Out of the box for the 1 gig T-bird on a A7V should have the clock multiplier @ 10. I have tried both Jumper and Jumperless and get the same results from both. Am I crazy or am I being fooled by myself into thinking that this thing is oc'ed??? help before i drop kick this thing.
perhaps you have an old version of dem and it is screwing up the fact that athlons use the 200MHZ DDR bus, 200*5 = 1000, thats probably what its reconnin

Don't think so..i downloaded WCPUID today. I mean your theory makes sense mathematically, but like I said i downloaded and install WCPUID today and SiSoft about 2 weeks ago when I finally put this thing together. :(
dunno about versions, that was just a suggestion, these cpuid progs quite often screw up, just listen to the bios reading, that'll be correct. Sysid recons i have a 75mhz bus with a 120x multiplier or sommink!

Where did you download the WCPUID from? If you got the latest version...I guess it's the 3.xx, you should have the 10x multiplier reading. But the previouse versions post the multiplier numbers in half. Mine is also version 2.xx and it's showing 5 multipliers. Only thing that really matters the most is the internal and external frequencies. If they are right, then it's not a false data. Since AMD uses DDR, maybe that's how the previouse versions of WCPUID posts the results.
this is an old version of wcpuid and look at the multiplier you can down load the lattest version here im running a multiplier of 11
