Ok all, I am in further need of the assistance of those overclocking Gods out there. Here is the sit-rep:

I'm sitting pretty stable at 950 with my 750. I've overclocked only the multipliers to 9.5, left the FSB alone(seems this board gets unstable if you try to go over 106). In order to get from 900 to 950 I had to up the voltage from 1.65v to 1.75v( reads 1.78 ). I've been at 950 for several days now, very stable, I've locked up twice, but that was a software issue. I really want that Gig. This is what I've done so far, spent 4 hours on it last night:

Tried just moving to 10x, no post, try going to 9.5x@106, no post. Try upping the voltage to 1.80v @ 10x, no post, tried setting 1.80v @ 9.5x@106, still no post (at this point I go out and shoot a tree to relieve pressure;) keep in mind, everytime I tried something new and didn't post, I had to clear CMOS and reset the *(&)(^*^ thing back up. Anyway, i've tried almost everything...

Any help or advice anyone can offer would be great. stats are K7T Pro 2-A Mobo, Duron (green) 750Mhz, latest BIOS, FSB can go anywhere from 100 to 132. Temps are great, barely get to 38C with a full load. HELP!!!

Thanks. :)

Have u tried to play a little more with the FSB? I'm at the same situation ( with my current cooling), I can't get the gig either. Try settings like 9.5x103 and 9.0x 107. I know u won't get the gig with tease settings, but if that's the highest u can get, then why not get it?
U also might have hit the limit of ur CPU, and then I don't think there is so much more to do. I don't think better cooling will help u, cuz ur temps are fine.
Let me know how it goes, OK?

Alright all, don't worry about the above post. I got it working just fine. For a future reference and for those of you banging your head against that same wall I did heres what fixed it: upping the Vcore to 1.80, moved the FSB (believe it or not) to 111 and left the Mult at 9.0, and yes baby, yes, I got the GIG! WOOHOO! That's great! anyway, here is why I'm posting here again, Fans for a GREAT price Great fans for a great price, did a lil online shopping if you will, wanted a new Glowal Win, but Coolerguys had'm for like 32 Bucks! I need cooling, but hell, give me an icecube and i'll blow into my box!! Went to http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/ some of you may have heard of this place, but anyway, they had the Global Win WBK38 for 26$!!! whereas coolerguys were posting for 36$! check this place out, they also have a new "Extreme Cooler" from Swifttech, it's 90$ but it's a monster, it's like you're taking out the propellor fan and throwing in the A/C baby!

Check it out. some of you may know better cheaper places to get it, but hey, figured i'd drop you this line!
