copper heatsink 4 palomino...

hi!

i have cheap no-name copper heatsink,
it's lookin' nice, but... :eh?:

the cpu:
palomino 1800+ unlocked (@ 2000+, 2100+)

the cooler:
thin copper layers on copper block...
weight: 250gr~ (8oz~)

yep, the question:
will this thing cool enough my palomino?

Do you have a picture?

250gr isn't even heavy for an aluminum HS, so i don't think that a 250gr copper HS will cool very well.
Or is it only the base that is made of copper?

Good news and bad news, I think-

I have one that is very similar: with the fan that it came with I could run at default speed with an XP1700 but it was pretty hot. Somewhere around 50c I think! Lapping mine helped a little bit, but it was still not great.

Once I put an 8000 rpm Delta Screamer on there, things went just fine

Load temp went from 50c at default to about 45c @1700mhz.

1800+ @2000+ runnin' 45C, with my huge aluminium coolermaster...
(it's really really heavy!)

system: 35C

not bad 4 summer!

I think I screwed up my lapping of my SLK900

I'm getting
CPU: 48c load
system: 36c load

I have a 92mm Vantec thermoflow on it... hmm

I have my 1800+@1900+
+5% voltage bump 1.8v
