I am having a problem with 1 pc on my network, mine. I cant access the other PCs on the network and they cant access me. They can access the others so I know its not the network. All PCs are running Windows XP (no service pack). Below is an image of the error message. I really need to fix this ASAP since I got a lanparty tommorow!

It looks like a permission problem.
Check on the computer you can't connect to, check the account username and password of the account that you are connecting as. Make sure it's not disabled. Make sure that the shares' permissions are set correctly, and that the NTFS permissions are set correctly.

9 times out of ten something like that is caused by either permissions/account issues as mentioned, or a firewall.

How are you trying to access the other pc's?
Are you in the same workgroup as the other pc's?
*Edit* Also, are you sure your NIC is working and your connection?

I was getting the same error on one of the machines on my home network after a new install of XP Pro. Turns out Netbios over TCP/IP was by default not enabled. Check out this (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;318030) Microsoft KB article if your still having problems.

Yes its on I am not a ******, lol. My NIC is good I can play LAN games and access the net. Yes they are on the same workgroup. I am trying to access the PC through the My Network Places. Also there is no firewall.
InThrees whats this about premissions? I am an admin and this is my main rig @ home. Also would installing SP1 fix it?

Ok.
Here's a scenario:
I have a BLUE box that I admin.
My roommate has a GREEN box.
BLUE acts as a server, having a huge hard drive and loads of space. Green acts as a damn leech, being owned by someone too damn cheap to go out and buy a #@$!#$ hard drive. (but that's another story, for another *cough rants cough* forum.)
Unless I add a user account to BLUE for GREEN to log on with, and share folders giving GREEN access, GREEN won't be able to log on to my BLUE.
Add the users via administrative tools -> users, and set the user type to user, or custom, and only allow what you want allowed.
Right click on a folder you want to share, and then in that dialogue, add the user account you created with read/write priviledges.
It may be a little different in WinXP (I use 2k) but disabling simple file-sharing should result in a method that's nearly the same, I think.

Thx for the info but all the PCs here on my home network have acess to each PC. Like with shared folders. So I dont have any permissions setup, all PCs are win XP Pro with pretty much the default install. They are also all on a workgroup named WORKGROUP.
 I STILL HAVE THIS SAME PROB! HELP!

Just a guess, but you might want to check your Local Security Settings...Start | Run | Type secpol.msc and hit OK | Expand...
Security Settings | Local Policies | User Rights Assignment
Check the User and Group settings for things like "Access this computer from the network", "Deny access to this computer from the network", etc. :)

Well everyone and other things are allowed to access my pc from the network. For deny access there is only one thing denied access and its this one called SUPPORT and some numbers after it.
Any more Ideas? This is really ticking me off. Would it be fixed if I installed SP1?

Try enabling NetBIOS over TCP/IP:

Ok.. lets try something off the wall.. can you ping the other computer?
start/run/ type cmd and hit enter.
then type ping xpc-sniperxx
(or replace the computer's name with it's IP).
You probably can, seeing as there is probably internet access, but why not try the obvious?

Wierd I get transmit failed but my comp (one with prob) found the others IP, but I get a transmit error. Something like error 65. How can it not successfully ping but I can play Battlefield 1942: Desert Combat with that comp and the others on my network?
Also, I am connected to a DLink DL-614+ via wire. All my systems I play games with use wire and not the WiFi too. Also, AIM/MSN/Kazaa and other proggys connect to the net through router. Its just the workgroup browsing and pinging others comps on the network...

That's odd, because the "PING: Transmit failed, error code 65" error message relates to having a firewall installed (like InThrees suggested), but you said "there is no firewall". The error appears when the ping command is blocked from accessing the network, or when the firewall is configured to block ICMP Echo and/or Echo Reply packets.

I unistalled my NIC from device manager and restarted. It reinstalled the driver but I only could browse the workgroup once?!?!? After that the prob returned...

What protocols are you running?
Try uninstalling TCP/IP and all other protocols, then reboot and reinstal them. Your TCP/IP stack may be messed somehow.
