k6 hsf for nf7-s nb cooler?

i was wonderin if i could use an old k6 hsf fan for my nf7-s nb cooler. If anybody has tried this or has any insight on if this would work please let me know.
 
you can but depends if your using a slk 900 on your cpu or something that size. cos it's so dam big it does not leave much room.
may have to put off center.
 
I just bought a used k6 cooler for my nb. I think it'll work perfect. I'm going to mark the holes on the bottom using my stock hsf as a template and drill and tap them. I like to use small rubber grommets for washers with this type of stuff. The rubber squeezes down like a spring while you tighten it. That way I don't overtighten and it acts as a lockwasher because of the back pressure.
