SiSoft Sandra

I just recently ran Sisoft Sandra 2001 on my new 1ghz TBird. All of my scores were great but there is on test that is giving me a score that doesn't make much sense to me. It is the CPU Multi Media Benchmark. I am scoring 5629 it/s for the Integer MMX Enh and 6241 it/s for the Floating Point 3dnow! Enh. Now don't get me wrong, I think the scores are a hell of an improvement over my P3 450 but in the comparisons it says that 1ghz athlons should have a Floating Point 3dnow Enh score of 6827 it/s. What is causing my system to be so much slower. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. My system specs are as follows:

1ghz TBird (10*100)
Abit KT7a
256 mb Crucial PC133 Cas 2
300 Watt Antec Power Supply
Asus V7100 Geforce2 MX
Soundblaster Live
13.9 GB Quantam Fireball HD
3COM Ethernet Card
Creative 52x CdRom

Well, overclock it...

Well I really don't want to overclock it until I get a better cooler. Right now I am using the stock heatsink and fan that came with the Processor. Do you think that it might have to do with the fsb? If i raise the fsb to 133 and lower the multiplier to 7.5 woudl that make a difference? I am planning on doing this in a week anyway when my conductive pen gets in but I was just curoius. yea that **** happens sometimes-with me it was in reverse, on the drives test it was no where near the estimate for others systems, my test blew away a 1gig tbird and he p4 and all i have i s a classic 600 nonOC-im just sayin that SiSandra isisnt always right-my ram also rulez(sometimes) then sometimes it is close ?? go figure-loie he said OC the **** out of it the cool it :D

yo bra, get a Vantec cooler, great hs, the best clip, and if u wanna go more, just slap the black label fan on it, and she'll go. thats y many of the new coolers look good at idle, but suck at load, b/c the hs cant take it, the fan is keeping it cool at idle. the Vantec is up to it and more.
