Differences among Tbird cores: where to buy

I'm about to purchase a Tbird 750 and was wondering if there are chips that are better than others? Any blue cores in 750? My main question is do vendors sell off crappiers chips for cheaper? I can get a T750 for $72, should I buy elsewhere to try and get a better core?

Yes, they do(did) make blue T-Birds. They were a best buy for overclocking a while back. Look in the cpu database for some good weeks.

People have been able to push them to 1000-1200+ with some work.
