self contained cpu cooler

i was flipping through a computer mag. and saw a self contained water cooled cpu cooler (ie coolant fan heatsink) that fits atop the cpu. i forgot which mag it was and haven't been able to find it online. does someone know where i might find one.

Cooling your athlon with your finger would be smarter and more painless.

Water cooling works better because it has more surface area. This has less.

I apologize for the attitude and briefness of my previous post.

The reason a watercooling system works better is because the radiator has a lot more surface area than a regular heatsink. Also, you can use a much quieter fan with MORE airflow. That "watercooler" has less surface area than a mediocre heatsink. And the fan is no bigger, and rather loud. If you insist on buying it, go ahead. But it won't do much better than a stock heatsink, and you may not be able to overclock.

You also have run across a classic joke in the pc cooling industry!

It is pretty funny when a $60 unit does not perform as well as....say, a small pile of sheetrock screws and blowing air over them with your mouth (<-- slight exaggeration)!!!

Do not be fooled: it is worthless except as an overpriced paperweight.

yeah i say the price and turned away. i just wanted to take a look at it for curiousity sake. i decided that i would just put in a complete water cooling when i get around to it.

well first of all the coolant doesn't move it just sits there under a fan. how does that help?

Yeah, it's amazing... we get to comment that steaming pile o' crp cooler on the forum every week.. how on earth can there be people selling it for PC cooling at all?? It doesn't work good for that purpose.
