I just bought an AMD Tbird 800, Asus A7V133 mobo, and a chrome orb heatsink/fan. Is all I need to do is apply thermal grease and change the FSB to O/C it? Multiplyer of 8 x133 FSB = 1064?

By the way it is the kt133a chipset, 256 mb cl2 pc 133 SDRAM (memman)

1064 would probably be too much for your chip without watercooling and more voltage - though 7x133=931 or maybe 7.5x133=997.5MHz would be possible (almost certain it could do 931MHz anyway). To do that you'd have to drop the multiplier, which would involve unlocking it with the infamous 'pencil trick'. Here's some links - it might take a few goes (took me 5 or 6 attempts), and it's a pain reapplying the thermal paste and hsf each time, but it's worth it:

OK thanks, I did read something about having to cut traces on the mobo to unlock it but that was an old article, I take it that I wont have to do that? What type of store would carry conductive ink pens?

Any good electronics store should have them.
