I get the same problem..seems that when there is power going to the mobo the reset or power button do not do cold reboots correctly, often retaining the info from the mobo etc and a restart is not then able to function correctly..anyone correct me if I am wrong!
Only solution I have found so far is to take the power cable out of the ps and wait a few seconds, plug it back in and it's fine..anyone know if this is relating to poor cooling??
Just instability, raise voltage some more, or get some more cooling. Had the same thing at 750 @ 1.65V GORB cooled. Switching to 800@1.8V watercooled solved the problem. b.t.w. system runs ~30° instead of 45°C in the past.

Another vote for voltage. If you are brave do the voltage mod and try a lot more voltage.
I am having very simular problem. I have an IWILL KA-266 DDR board, and I already have voltage high as it will go. 1.85v. If I get post, it will go ahead and run perfect, rock solid even, but sometimes it just doesn't post. Is there a way to further increase voltage if the board maxes out at 1.85? Is there anything else that could be the problem?
I have now tried better cooling, and my temp on the CPU droped 6C, I run my comp like 5h, then I can turn it of and on, and it boot perfect. But 17h was to much for it. Will now try the volt..
