I've seen PC3700 sold and advertised everywhere, but I can't see any motherboards that support this memory, the highest memory supported by any mobos i see is PC3200, where can I find mobos that support PC3700?

there arnt any to officially support pc3700 that i know of. That doesnt mean to say that there are no boards that will run at those speeds (thought there arnt many)

the nf7-s is about the only amd board that has a decent chance of hitting 233mhz fsb (pc3700) without any mods.

o.k. o.k., should I get 1GB of PC1600, 512MB of PC2700, or 256MB of PC3700??? It's probably about the same price, or only a 25 dollar differnece give or take between the three of em? So which one should I get??

yes. the PC rating is a bandwidth rating. it means at it's rated speed it will do that many MBps. i.e. PC3200 = 200Mhz DDR and will have a max bandwidth of about 3200MBps.

a board that says it can officially support DDR400 means that if you use a CPU with a 200Mhz internal speed or overclock one to 200Mhz internal speedit can run at 200Mhz front side bus and still be "in spec".

512mc of pc3200 - no question.

512mb is the minimum that i would use. besides, pc3200 is garunteed for 200mhz - you really dont need anymore than that.

Don't bother with anything under 2700. 3200 is your best bet
