Guys I just want to pick ur brains..when i did my L1 brigdes I found I was able to adjust the multiplier and fsb on a tbird 750 to 900...yet after a while (2 mins) running prime 95 the speed of the cpu drops to 500 (according to cputester)..is this because of
1) bad cooling? I have a superorb
2) badly done L1s ( but if they were done badly surely I won't be able to oc at all...right?)
any help from the gods is nectar to me..

I would say bad L1's. The other day, mine went somewhere. I think the lead I used on duron 750 had heated up (maybe to 55c) then I lost only a part of my overclock. Took the board out, cleaned the bridges with alcohol, made sure it was dry, then redid the pencil (hb #2 .5mm). Before I did this, I could oc to 950 but not 800 or 850. Now I have 500-1050, actually 1100, but it gets stuck at boot.
