Does anyone know of anyone working on a NB block mounting system that will work with the abit IC-7/IS-7 motherboard?

Yep, the D-Tek block will work with the stock chrome retaining ring that holds the stock NB HSF on. No mods needed except to bend the rings legs a bit.
