Sim city 4 runs quicker on my GF's duron than on my xp?!!

Girlfriend's's:
Asus kt133a
Duron 700 OC'd to 990
384 SDR Ram
Nvidia GF2 (clocked down cheapo from Newegg, not a MX)
Playing at 1024 x 768 x 16bit exact same setting as other comp.

Mine:
Abit KT400 (KD7)
Xp1600+ @ 1600mhz and more
512 DDR2100 RAM
ATI 9100 Not overclocked (250/230)

Mine is A LOT slower than hers. Something is obviously wrong with mine. I've tried everything from going back to default setting on everything to overclocking everything. I just don't know what to do. I think there are newer CAT's out than I have.

Anyone have an idea?

Probably optimized for Nvidia cards

I think there were scrolling problems with Sim City 4 and Ati cards. Try newer drivers.

Yeah, I just got the Cat 3.5's, but still having trouble. It worked well at first, but I changed a few things in the game settings and now I can't get it back. I might try re-installing the drivers later. This is agrivating.

Indeed it is scrolling trouble.
