BIOS chip checksum error!

what's this mean? i don't think i ruined my BIOS cause i'm typing this out on my rig right now. my overclock is shot though. used to do 1924 (12*160) now i can't get my ram over 150. this may be the ram though because i also gave it a shot of 2.9v.
 
Just go into your BIOS, then click save and exit and restart that should do it. You get a CMOS checksum error after you reset CMOS usually.
 
i didn't do that though. i just rebooted and it gave me the red "do not power off while bios saving your settings" (gotta love engrish) than it gave me that error and asked to use the BIOS flash utility.
 
emericanchaos, I do get checksums from time to time. At worse I reset the cmos, reboot once, and then reboot go back into the bios and overclock.
