i have a Zalman7000Cu on my [email protected] and its not as cool as i've seen others so i'm thinking i may have fan placement probs.

My Fans:
2 Tornadoes(80cfm)
4 generic 80mm fans (around 30fm)
1 120mm 50cfm
Fan places:
1 120mm/80mm front/intake
2 80mm back/exhaust
1 80mm top
1 80mm side(in the center)
theres also a place between my FDD and my HDD for a 80mm fan, and its in front of a 3.5 bay so it also intakes there.

What would be the best configuration

My case sounds similar to yours. What helped me get a huge airflow increase was cutting out the built in fan grills - about double the airflow now.

are yours like tiny circles. Haha, its like blocking 50% of the flow
