I decided that the 50K upload limit is too small for many purposes, so I decided to get the $5/year plan where you can upload 1MB files.

So. . . uh . . . Anyone know how it gets activated? I paypal'd the money yesterday but have no idea if I am supposed to do something more.

I would imagine that you would get e-mailed some sort of confirmation or more instructions... Hopefully you didn't get hosed.

Figgered I'd wait a couple of days first. I'm sure the most annoying thing for him is that, if he normally takes 3 days to set up the account, always getting emails about how you don't know how to log in after a few hours.

Well, since he is only recently offering the upgrades, I would suspect that his inbox has more than a few of those emails pending. There are a couple of things you can do:

First, try uploading a pic. Perhaps he has set it up for you already and he just has not sent you the confirmation yet.

Second, email away. As I said above he is probably fielding a few of these inquiries and you are not helping him to leave your account unused and not reporting your confusion.

Theforumisdown does not have any links on the site to any other sort of uploader aside from the basic 50k one.

He accepted my paypal money today, so I'll drop an email tomorrow inquiring how I am supposed to upload with my new spiffy account.
