View Full Version : RAIN and Athlons
I always used 'rain' with intel cpus, should i use it with my 1.2 T/B @ 1.33, or is there a specific utility for Athlons?
Also is there a utility that shows cpu temp on the desktop or on the toolbar?
Thanks in advance.
rain doesn't work with tbirds or durons.
as for a temp-display proggie... i suggest you download this (http://www.tweakfiles.com/diagnostic/motherboardmonitor.html).

hmm RAIN is no temp display utility but it decreases the temperature of the CPU in idle time or something like that... isnt it?

I don't know if CpuIdle works the same as Rain, but it decreases the idle temp of my Duron by 2-3C. This is CpuIdle Pro with NT4.
www.tweakfiles.com has CPUCool, along with abunch of other really cool stuff. Although CPUCool doesn't work with all mobo's, so good luck.
